To dispatch significa despachar (= enviar).
No significa despachar (= atender en una tienda), que se traduce por to serve.
EXAMPLES:
- All the packages are now ready for dispatch. Todos los paquetes ya están listos para ser enviados.
- Rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the location where there are believed to be more survivors. Se enviaron inmediatamente equipos de rescate al lugar donde se cree que hay más sobrevivientes.
- The airport exit was chaotic, but luckily the hotel had dispatched a car to pick us up. La salida del aeropuerto fue caótica, pero por suerte el hotel había enviado un auto para recogernos.
