Diary significa diario (= cuaderno de anotaciones diarias), agenda.
No significa diario (= periódico), que se traduce por (daily) newspaper.
EXAMPLES:
- Anne Frank wrote in her diary during the time she was forced into hiding. Ana Frank escribió en su diario durante el tiempo en que se vio obligada a estar escondida.
- Please remember to note the meeting date in your diary. Recuerde anotar la fecha de la reunión en su agenda.
- She started keeping a diary when she turned thirteen. Empezó a escribir un diario cuando cumplió trece años.
